Originally founded in 1947, Hyalyn was a porcelain manufacturing company located in Hickory, NC. Hyalyn served the Greensboro triad area for over 32 years. Hyalyn was truly a local North Carolina business, owned by the same family since 1974.
Widely recognized as a leading lamp shade retailer in the Southeast, LAMPSHADES PLUS (formerly Hyalyn) offers an extensive inventory of products and services. Hundreds of lamp shades are always in stock. Customers will find a broad selection of shades from today's leading manufacturers, with new inventory arriving weekly. Lamp repairs (replacement cords, sockets and harps) and decorative finials are also offered at LAMPSHADES PLUS. More complex repairs and custom lamp work will be considered by our repair staff.
